This list tends to be pretty quiet but there is a lot of expertise here and it's a great place to ask questions.

Couldn't have rebuilt my Mod 3 without this sight. Not much activity here anymore. Too bad, this site is user friendly and Team Kitfox is a pain in the ass.

I'll chime in here, too. Agreed this site has been very user friendly, and I miss the meaningful exchanges we've had over the many years.
I've bee flying "Columbine" for over 15 years now, and my Model IV just hit 2400.0 hours. Now my new 912 UL and crate will be converted from an expensive hangar coffee table to a fresh power plant for the rest of my flying days.
Let's keep this list alive as best we diehards can!!

I built and still have my Kitfox model 4.  My new ride is a RV 9a.
 Wonder if we are related.

After spending quite a few years building my Model IV-1200 Speedster with much valuable help from the folks on this list, some of you may remember that it was lost in an accident in 2004. After recovering from my injuries, I bought a Series 6 kit and began working (slowly) on it. I missed my Kitfox!
Last summer I bought a Series 7 that had been completed in 2005 from a builder in Oklahoma who wants to move onto another project. I've been enjoying flying it but also tinkering with it. I've installed an ADS-B transponder and next month while it's down for its annual I'm building a new glass instrument panel and clipping the wings.

I am still here too listening to many familiar voices from past years. I built my Model 2 & first flying it in July of 1992. That was it’s first Oshkosh.
After having been down for the past 6 years I am getting it ready for this June. Grandkids and lots of RC flying got in the way. I am still hoping to make new wings with a Taylorcraft airfoil. Only time will tell if I do that.

I've been flying my Model I since 1994. A few upgrades along the way - traded the original pair of 6-gallon aluminum wingtanks for 13-gallon fiberglass tanks, added intercom, comm radio, and transponder. Next month will be replacing the worn-out 66" three-blade GSC prop the same kind but with LE protection. Starting to think about ADS-B.

I highly recommend the Stratux ads-b receiver kit. Great value if you already have some kind of tablet. I use the free Fltplan Go software. Total investment ~$100.

Bill, I finally had the engine rebuilt and reinstalled. Should fly it shortly. My brother and I built a RV-9A and flew it for several years. Sold it and helped my brother build a RV-10 which we are currently flying. We fly out of Calhoun.
