Good day, Tony,
I am flying my Europa XS with the Jabiru 3300A. I kept it simple and used a vernier throttle control from ACS. I placed it on the forward part of the center console. I placed the carb heat and choke controls next to it. Works great for me.

Ignore the dual finger brakes. This pix was a record showing to NOT use these type knobs because they can get stuck like this and cause an issue. I simply went to straight knobs.

Greetings from Down Under,
I'm at the point where I need to construct my throttle lever housing for my Jabiru powered Europa XS with Classic Wings. As I am unable to find a specific reference for Jabiru equipped aircraft in the builders manual, I would like to know if the throttle lever housing shown in the builder's manuals for the Rotax engines will also serve its purpose for my aircraft? I hope that those of you flying with the Jabiru engine can offer some advice.

Almost any control will work. Take a look at the McFarlane Aviation Catalog. https://www.mcfarlaneaviation.com
The Bing Carb is sprung loaded to full throttle. So the cable needs to pull the throttle plate towards the rear. I used a Tee bar type of throttle with Carb heat. I like the feel, but would not recommend it as it was difficult to move out of the way for brake bleeding. My picture is to large for this program, I can sent it off-line.
