 It for some unknown reason,  developed a crack under cylinder #2, on the back housing plate.  I have a replacement housing plate which you can see in the attached photo and I've been told by an overhaul shop that the engine can be dismantled and rebuilt for approx. $ 2500.   Engine is in good working order with good compression and oil pressure and be good for another 1000 hours, if you continue to care for it as I did. 

 I'm asking $ 6,000 including the extra plate, as is, at my location.  KCMA.
