For those who are signed up for Okracoke, and
interested others: Rooms are reserved for 8 couples at
Jefferson Landing Club for Fri-Sun nites at just over
$100/ couple/nite. Delux accomodations. Free
breakfast. Golf, hiking, bike ride on the Va. Creeper
trail (all downhill, not overly rigorous), tennis,
loafing, beer drinking, story telling, cool temps,
chance to fly around some awesome scenery not often
seen unless you are the Stormy one. GEV is identifier.
Gas is kinda hi, but Marion is a quick trip to cheepo
gas. Once decision is made on Okracoke, I'llneed count
on # for each event listed, esp. golf, biking the
Creeper. Shatley Spgs among awesome eateries in this
area, you won't go hungry. Ctc me off SERV at
bill28104(at)yahoo.com to keep SERV site uncluttered w/
any Qs or comments...,RENO ( oh, more rooms can be
had for couples over the orig. 8...

Bill,
If we go to the mountains sign us up for the Creeper Trail bike ride. Kathy and I have done the ride four times in past years and it's a great ride. You start at the top of White Mountain and bike 17 miles (all flat or downhill) on the old railroad bed. Got to stop at the ice cream shoppe in Damaskus at the end of the ride.
They supply the bikes and van ride to the top of the hill. A great way to spend an afternoon.

Done...BTW I'm now smokey II. Cappy helped me wire it
up and 1st test comes as soon as i get some earl. may
do in time for mtns..

Earl don't make smoke, Reno. Earl is what you adjust for best TV
pitcher reception.
Appreciate all you've done to secure plan B. Either way, this weekend
is going to rock and we are in!

Get some "form oil" at Purser Oil in Charlotte. It aint cheap. I got a 55 gallon drum.
