Sorry for the slightly off-thread question but here goes.
I’ve been unsuccessfully looking for a +-12 volt power supply that uses +12v as its source. I need this to power a few OP Amp based circuits in one of my cars. Do any list members know where to find one of these?

I was looking for something to do +/- 15vdc for a similiar application, so
that I could run Behringer pro audio parts in the vehicle.
You may be able to find such a beast in the form of a "DC-DC coverter."
These are solid state switchmode all-in-one things that seem to do the
trick. The fun part is finding one, maybe are 48vdc input as they are used
in computing and telecommunications equipment.
They exist though!
