Hi John
I don't know anything about the FireStar, maybe Thom or Bob know more.
I'm working in Buffalo, NY for two weeks so I contacted Thom Riddle about checking out some Kolbs in the area. He invited me to fly over to Geneseo airport and meet with Bob Bean. The Geneseo airport is home of the 1941 Historical Aircraft Group Museum.

I will have some video of Bob flying his MK III as soon as I get home and edit the film.
