Has anyone used one of the Aux. inputs to Grand Rapids EIS 4000 for reading the coolant temperature by a probe into the coolant, with output 0-5 V?

Would appreciate details with respect to type of probe/where sourced and where/how placed into the coolant.

Best regards,
Svein

Have a look at http://www.skydrive.co.uk/sd_sa_91.asp It might be what you need.

Simon,

Appreciate this, but Skydrive's coolant temp reading sets are based on VDO sensor and they are all resistance type while the one available input channel to GRT EIS that I have left requires a voltage variation.

Now, if I had a converter from resistance to voltage - - - ??

Best regards,
Svein
