601HD/HDS header tank in an XL?

Assuming I am mindful of the weight and balance can an HD header tank be

physically mounted in an XL? Is the outline of the firewall the same? I'm

looking for ways to extend my range without rebuilding my wings for the

extended range tanks or filling my right seat with a race car fuel cell.

I've played around with a W&B spreadsheet and it looks like the tank can be

full and the W&B still be in range.
