Gents:
This afternoon I was cruising along in my 680F(p) at 17,999 feet and happened to notice that my hydraulic pressure on the main gage was down to about 2,000 PSI and the needle was very $B!H(Bshaky$B!I(B. After descending to about 6,500 the pressure held steady at 3,100 PSI, which is where the pressure should be. The pressurization was on at both altitudes. After landing either engine would keep the pressure at 3,000 PSI with the other engine off (air conditioner off), and there are no leaks. The auxiliary gage stays at 1,000 PSI in all instances. This is the Skydrol system that has a big New York Air Brake Company on both engines.
Any suggestions?
