Is there any issue with mixing RG400 with other coax in the runs? My harness came with short RG17 “pigtails” for the radio stack. Is there any reason I can’t use RG400 for the remainder of the runs?

No, any good quality 50 ohm cable can be used to extend
your pigtail cables to the antenna.
