The rims on the model 1 have the disk screwed to the center hub .
I can remove the welded on pads , if the rims are 6 hole on 4" circle
I will take them !

I have been watching for some of these wheels to come up for sale for a while too. I have one with a small chunck missing on the outside edge. It seems there is enough demand for the manufacturer to run a batch.

good luck... If you contact Douglas, MAKE SURE you dont tell them they are going on an aircraft...They do not want the liability in any way, shape, form or fashion.
I guess we need to tell them we are making specialty go-carts with 4 wheel disk brakes....and tiny axles lol...
It may be easier if we can talk someone into manufacturing a 20" tire for the 6" rims... If MIPPI is blowing them out for the low price they are, then they cant be taking too much of a hit in the actual cost of manufacturing... if we can get enough orders together, it may be a viable option.
