We are beginning to install the accessories on our Superior parallel valve O-360 that has fuel injection and a composite sump. In talking with Van's, they said they had no info on this configuration and couldn't offer any help on how the throttle and mixture cables are routed and mounted on the engine. If anyone has done this, I would appreciate any pointers or pictures you could provide
Thanks, Jim Barrilleaux

Jim,
I have the same configuration . I fabricated a metal bracket which I mounted under the composite sump using the four threaded mounting points provided. The bolts were safety wired. This mounted the throttle cable.I used Van's kit to mount the mixture control.
Somewhere I have my shop drawings. No promises but if you send me your snail mail address off line I will photo same and send them....That is if I can find them.
Superior wrote me recently that they were replacing the Ryton sump with a metal unit under development.Hopefully the same mount will work.

Jim:
I too have the same set up -- I used the mixture set up from Vans and also used Vans
prop gov. hardware. I used the eye ball mounts through the fire wall. I fabricated a throttle cable
mount out of .063 sheet steel that uses two adjacent bolts on the Ryton sump. It looks good
and the cable run is nice and straight. One of the Matronics listeners sent me pictures of the one
he fabricated and I made one similar to his. I fabricated three of them until I got one I liked --
pretty simple to do I used a cheep metal brake that I got from Harbor Freight for ten bucks or so.
If you want I'll try to find the pictures he sent and get pics of the one I ended up with. I too hope
that Superior's new sump is similar enough to the Ryton that I don't have to repeat the whole
process again.
best wishes
