Dear Terry:
Is it not wonderful to see the out pouring of concern from our RPA community. Those who love their pet have a special bond that also spills out with our human activities. As said so often, our pets give so much more to us than the other way.
I have lost a son, parents, and pets. Sometimes these heart breaking events melt into each other.
Have just finished reading, "A Dog Year" by Jon Katz. He lost his Lab, and replaced her with a crazy Border Collie. It will give one support in a difficult time. I read in the paper this morning that they are making a movie of this little book; with Jeff Bridges.
My Border Collie, Mr. Yak, has been by my side for over five years; and many days I could not have made it without him by my side.
Some folks think that we crusty old guys can't have emotion and love; but they are surely wrong!
My best to you and your entire family,
Ray Gage
