Come on fellows let’s not let the new fellow start on the wrong foot --- how about DO NOT ARCHIVE on this fluff stuff as requested by many on the list. Its hell to go through the archives and wade through all the fluff.

Welcome to the list LeRoy. Tell us about yourself – do you have a ‘fox, or are considering getting one?

Hello To All!
I'm new to this site, but have been reading your comments for a while. Just wanted to say "hi" and hope that I can comment on a subject or two.

Hi Ted:
Actually I purchased a Kitfox last April, but really don't have that many flight hours in it (15 hours). I had an Avid Mark IV trike before, but it literally bit the dust as I was landing and a burst of wind blew me off the runway into an embankment.
Now I'm almost to the point of relearning how to fly. My KF Classic IV is just a little bigger (the cabin has much more room), I have a new powerplant (from a Rotax 582 to a Revmaster 2100D), a 3 bladed composite, ground adjustable prop. to a two bladed wooden Sensinica non-adjustable; not to say going from a trike landing gear configuration to a taildragger...makes a guy feel quite challenged!
I have both an ultralight and sport pilot license. No urge to get a general aviation or private license. Just want to get up to 1000' or maybe 2000' and fly on some silky smooth air for an hour or so and come home and tuck the baby away for another few days.
Flying has been a dream of mine for years. I've only been in the "flying business" for a couple years. It's my avocation, my hobby.
