				Some realtively good news.

I have ALL 32 drawings completed for the cowling and baffles. I have
all of the process specs completed. I have all of the fabrication
processes completed. All of the stress analysis has been completed.
All of the flame tests have been completed. AND, they've all been
accepted. And, it only took a year. That's right, I started the
 drawings one year ago today.

I submitted drawings for two baffles, the #4 cylinder and the baffle to
which the oil cooler attaches, to a fabricator. For a run of 5 each,
they'll cost $120 each. Doesn't that suck? For 100 of each piece, the
 cost is about $20 each.

The package was submitted to the ACO about 2 weeks ago. They, the ACO,
determined it will take more than 40 hours for their evaluation, so,
the package is put into a que to see which ACO gets to work on it. My
DER has worked with West coast ACOs and is not interested in traveling
East, so, I wait for a West coast ACO to find time to do it.
