Hi, Is there any where I can go to see a properly marked AIS for a 701,
flap speeds, manuverung speeds etc.. I'd like to mark mine but don't want to
do it wrong.

Also does any one have the dimensions for making your own foam-cor seats? I
met a couple at Eaa last year that gave me a drawing of this, and the even
sold the material. I can no longer locate this. I'd like to try an make my
own seats for cost reasons, this is also for a 701. Thx Pat. Hartland Wisc.

If you are just looking for the "V" numbers aren't they on the front of the
plans? They are for the 601XL.

The couple selling the foam and plans were probably Jim and Janice Fix at

Hi Craig, yes they are for the 701 as well, But I do want to be sure where
to put each colored arc, where they start and end. Thx Pat

Airspeed limitations and their operational significance are shown below:

Speed IAS (MPH) Remarks
VNE Never exceed speed 108 Do not exceed this speed in
any operation
VNO Maximum structural 87 Do not exceed this speed
cruising speed except in smooth air and then
only with caution
VA Maneuvering speed 71 Do not make full or abrupt
control movement above this
speed, because under certain
condition the aircraft may be
overstressed by full control
movement
VFE Maximum Flap 60 Do not exceed this speed with
extended speed flaps extended.
