Hi:

Question for those with the EXp2Bus, from Control Vision.

I have a total Electrical Failure today, I was around the pattern,
two minutes
or so in to the flight, when everything went blank...

After I landed, I thought would reset, but it never did... back at the hangar,
check my two small bus bars, I have, nothing..

Remove unit, and check the Bat. connection, with master Switch on, of course,
nothing...

So I guess I will have to sent unit back to Control Vision, for repair..?

Any one had ever had this experience, and what was the cause? Any one has
suggestions before I sent it back..? Battery is Good.... I know.....

Thanks,

Bertrv6a

I have the EXp2Bus and have not had any problems in just over two years. One
thing you may try is remove the battery ables, this will remove all power
from the unit. After a minute or so reconnect. I have had problems with my
Dynon unit and it will reset when I do this. Don't know if this will work on
the EXp but it has to easier than removing EXp.

Hmmm.

About 1000 hours so far and no such problem.

Are you using their "40 amp on board relay"? Or did you wire it with an external contactor?
(Actually after reading the message again, it seems you are using their relay.)

If you are using theirs, is the board mounted horizontally or vertically? May sure that relay is working fine.
